The Palomar Group is a full-service commercial Investment Sales firm. The Investment Sales Team specializes in the sale of single tenant, multi tenant, and multifamily properties throughout the country. Their proven track record on both the acquisition and disposition sides are a direct result of their understanding of the marketplace, appropriate asset valuation based on current market conditions, and the alignment of assets to the most suitable and qualified Buyer/ Seller. The Team has worked on over 13.5 million square feet of retail and multifamily, having a hand in over $1.5 billion in transactions across 17 states.

Palomar was created by Steve Collins, Ryan McArdle, and David Rivers in 2017 after a long career in the development business where they each played a role in the development of retail and multifamily assets across the East Coast. Experiences and relationships there, led them to start an Investment Sales business while with that developer. Over the years, the work there led them to the creation of The Palomar Group.


The Palomar Group gets its name from a Palomar knot, widely recognized as the strongest and most reliable fishing knot in the world. Palomar feels the similarities between what we do and how we do it go hand in hand with this long trusted fishing knot. The R&R Invitational is an annual golf tournament hosted by The Palomar Group. Founded in 2012, this is an event focused on building relationships with our clients. The R&R has been an unparalleled industry event where large numbers of industry leaders join together and build relationships away from the deal table.


Freedom Tour

In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic when events and conferences were canceled, Palomar partners, Steve Collins, Ryan McArdle, and David Rivers, came up with an innovative solution to continue to get business done in an industry fueled by relationship. While peers and competitors sat at a standstill, The Palomar Group took things into their own hands and got on the road!

They decided to ditch the confines of the office and set out on an RV tour across the Southeast and mid-Atlantic to visit industry friends and clients. Thus the Freedom Tour was born.
